 Hi Barsha wine lovers! We’re taking you out of the box with amazing fall flavors paired with unique fall recipes. For both clubs the whites have exotic fruit flavors that’ll wake the dead! For the bloody reds-a fruit forward crisp Tinto from the Canary Islands for the Classico and a scary delicious red blend for Riserva.

Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi

At the beginning of the 1990s Beatrice Lucangeli (who sadly recently passed away) and her husband Stefano Aymerich started restructuring the estate, located in the most classical production zone of Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi, with the aim of producing high quality wines. The Aymerich and the Lucangeli families both have traditional links to agriculture in the Marche.

Straw colours, exotic bouquets and weighty mouthfeel, greener tints, aromas of flowers and fresh tropical fruits, a crisp palate sensation closing with a hint of bitter almonds. Rich & deliciously plump!

In 1977, D. Antonio Ramírez bought a small piece of land in the hills of La Lechuza (a small town on the island of Gran Canaria) known locally as “El Frontón”. There he planted some vegetables and vines for the family’s needs. In 1999 his two sons, Pedro and Antonio, decided to bottle some wine to sell locally. The vineyards are high-elevation – many above 1,000 meters – and in many cases on terraced slopes.

Vibrant aromas and flavors of ripe red berries and crisp minerality punctuate this lighter-bodied, silky red wine from the Canary Island

Tablas Creek & Vineyard 2015

Vermentino

The 2015 Tablas Creek Vineyard Vermentino is their fourteenth bottling of this traditional Mediterranean varietal, known principally in Sardinia, Corsica, and Northern Italy. It is also grown in the Rhone Valley (particularly Côtes de Provence) where it is known as Rolle. 

Nose of white grapefruit, citrus leaf, and crushed rock, generous and mouth-filling, like lemon-lime soda, with a briny sea spray minerality and a long, clean, luscious finish. Drink now and over the next few years.

Red blend- 20% Merlot(Jim Black vineyard), 40% Sangiovese (Luna Matta Vineyard), 30% Merlot (Margarita Vineyard),
10% Petit Verdot(Margarita Vineyard)

The journey in creating Giornata started with a dream to create wines from Italian grapes grown in California employing the sensibility and philosophy of Italian winemaking. They work with the same grape vines (clonal material) as the best producers in Italy.  Ripe dark cherry from the Sangiovese and a plumminess from the Merlot. Notes of toffee & espresso w/round silky palate with clove and pepper finish.
