90% Steel Barrel Chardonnay
8% Sauvignon Blanc
Not all Chardonnay wines are oaky, vanilla, or heavy. The three grapes in this wine were harvested in 2013 and were all grown in the Carneros region of Sonoma, California. They were all fermented separately with native yeasts. The driving backbone is stainless steel fermented Chardonnay. On top of that Chard base, we blended in 8% Sauvignon Blanc for the citrus, and 2% Viognier to make that nose pop.
